This brand new five silver proof coin series is inspired by the birds that inhabit the great nation of Australia, because of the nations island status many of these species are unique and breathtakingly beautiful. Beginning with the characterful Red tailed Black Cockatoo and future release's will be the Budgerigar, Regent Bowerbird, Rainbow Lorikeet and Splendid Fairy Wren. Each released coin will be a 1/2 troy oz of .999 silver in a proof finish.

The coins obverse depicts the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.No more than 10,000 of these coins will be released by the Perth Mintfor collectors to buy, each coin is issued with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and housed in a display case with illustrated shipper.
